HOW WE STARTED
How MiJ Robots started
MiJ Robots Group S.L. was founded in Cassà de la Selva (Girona) with a clear goal: to apply real engineering to real problems of control and instrumentation. We started doing custom projects — temperature control for a local industry, humidity monitoring for a winery, HVAC control for a hotel — and we noticed that some of those problems repeated so often they deserved a product of their own.
That's how Eco-Space, OptiRest and OptiCost were born: three SaaS platforms for three sectors where we had done enough projects to know them well. The custom hardware line is still alive because there are always problems that don't fit into a standard product — and because designing the hardware in-house is what lets us evolve our products without asking anyone for permission.

Full stack in-house
We design electronics (schematics, PCB), write firmware, build backend, frontend and mobile apps. Every layer is owned by someone on the team. No black boxes.
Product + service
We have our own products to scale and engineering services to solve the unique cases. The combination is rare and, for many clients, it's what makes the difference between buying a product that doesn't quite fit and having one made for their reality.
Iberian and European reach
We operate in Spanish, Catalan and English. Our products are deployed in hotels, restaurants and plants across Spain and Europe.
